Barnes & Noble has begun shipping its NookColor ahead of schedule to those who pre-ordered the device online or in its bricks-and-mortar stores.
I haven’t yet had a chance to play with the Barnes & Noble NookColor, I expect to be getting a review unit this week. But from the early reviews I’m reading from my colleagues in the tech world, the NookColor has done a lot of things right.
Dan Costa at PCMag.com calls it: “more than an ebook reader, less than a full-blown tablet, the Nook Color’s artful compromises make for a compelling, color reading experience that is ideal for both books and magazines. ”
