RIM announced two new BlackBerry smartphones coming end of next month; the BlackBerry Bold 9650 and the BlackBerry Pearl 9100. As a lover of the optical trackpad, I’m pleased to see both new devices have gotten rid of the trackball that used to give me fits.
The new Bold is a CDMA smartphone with support for 3G networks in the U.S., features built-in GPS and WiFi, a high res 480×360 screen, Micro SD card, 512 MB Flash memory, and 3.2 megapixel camera with flash.
The new Pearl has built-in Wi-Fi and GPS, a 360×400 pixel display, and 3.2 megapixel camera.
